Introduction

We invite you on a special spiritual journey through the holy sites of Italy, where we will walk in the footsteps of saints and experience the power of unity and prayer.

Our pilgrimage begins in Assisi, the city of St. Francis and St. Clare, where we will visit the Porziuncola and the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis. We then continue to the Eternal City — Rome, the heart of the Catholic Church — where we will attend an audience with Pope Francis and visit the Vatican basilicas, the Colosseum, the Roman Forums, and other sacred places.

A special highlight will be the excursion to San Giovanni Rotondo, the shrine of Saint Padre Pio, and to Gargano, a place of silence, prayer, and stunning natural beauty.

This pilgrimage offers an opportunity for spiritual renewal, prayer, and deepening of faith, as well as for discovering the rich history and beauty of Italy.

Travel program

1. day(24.11.2025.)

Zagreb - Assisi

– departure from Zagreb at 00:30. Drive through Slovenia, Trieste, Venice, Padua, Bologna, Florence, and Perugia
– arrival in Assisi in the morning. Sightseeing tour of the city of St. Francis: the Church of Our Lady of the Angels (Porziuncola), the Basilica and Tomb of St. Francis, the Church and Tomb of St. Clare, the central town square, and the Tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis
– in the afternoon, departure towards Rome
– accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay

2. day (25.11.2025.)

Rim

– breakfast
– full-day sightseeing tour of Rome: the Vatican
– shared Holy Mass (according to schedule)
– dinner
– overnight stay

3. day (26.11.2025.)

Audience with the Pope

– breakfast
– full-day sightseeing tour of Rome: the Church of St. Peter in Chains (Moses), the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Capitoline Hill, Piazza Venezia, the Tomb of the last Bosnian queen Katarina Kosača, the Altar of the Fatherland, and Trajan’s Column

Arangment

The package price includes:

– 4 nights in a hotel on a half-board basis (breakfast; dinner)
– spiritual and professional guidance – Fr. Josip Ćibarić
– transportation in high-tourist buses
– accommodation taxes/fees
– all bus fees for city entrances and parking

The package price does not include:

– health insurance and trip cancellation insurance (available upon request)
